Technology

Our state of the art Surgery Center is equipped with a CT scanner. This technology has revolutionized diagnosis and treatment while reducing the costs associated with hospital based CT. Evaluation of the jaws, face and neck in three dimensions including; treatment planning for dental implants, impacted teeth, TMJ, cysts / tumors, and airway evaluation for sleep apnea are fundamental uses of this technology, improving the quality of care for our patents. Most surgery takes place in our office operatories which are equipped like hospital operating rooms. We perform several different types of surgery in our office.

Cosmetic Procedures

Dr. Hardy has performed laser surgery since 1995 to correct age related conditions of the skin such as age spots, moles, and precancerous lesions as well as disorders of the mouth / throat including sleep apnea. He was the first surgeon in Vermont to perform laser skin resurfacing to treat fine to moderate wrinkles of the face. Laser procedures offer the advantages of minimized recovery time and improved cosmetic results over traditional surgical techniques.

Botox and Restylane are used treat mild to deep wrinkles of the face. These cosmetic treatments are used to maintain a youthful appearance without the recovery time associated with surgical treatment. Most patents return to normal activity immediately after their treatments.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are changing the way people live! They are designed to provide a foundation for damaged or missing teeth and feel like your own teeth. Implants also help preserve facial structure which prevents bone deterioration that occurs when teeth are missing. Often damaged teeth can be removed and replaced with implants restoring the smile in a single appointment! Dentures can be replaced or stabilized with implants giving patients the confidence to smile and chew again.
